An award-winning marketer and entrepreneur, Maurilio started The A Group in 2001 after more than a decade of serving in ministry. His passion for mission combined with his business-savvy mindset makes him a leading consultant for some of the world's largest churches, ministries, nonprofits and businesses.
An expert on branding, communication, social media strategies, and the changing world of technology, Maurilio loves to continuously learn, push things forward, and provide his clients with the most effective strategies and tools.
Both creative and results-oriented, Maurilio takes ideas and runs with them, from compelling marketing campaigns to groundbreaking software. In his spare time, he is dedicated to his new pursuits: becoming an international man of mystery, and being known by his first name only (like Beyonce).
With more than 20 years of experience in ministry as a pastor, best-selling author, and speaker, Pete Wilson provides valuable expertise and insight to help other pastors, ministries, and non profits overcome their challenges and expand their reach.
In 2002, Pete founded Cross Point Church in Nashville, Tennessee. Over the course of 14 years, he helped grow Cross Point to reach more than 7,500 people every weekend through its seven locations around the Nashville area and online. In 2010, when Thomas Nelson published his best-selling book, Plan B, Pete gained national attention. Since then, the title has been printed in five languages. Pete has authored three more books since Plan B: Empty Promises in 2012, Let Hope In in 2013, and What Keeps You Up at Night? in 2015.
Today, as president of The A Group, Pete combines his entrepreneurial spirit with his heart for ministry to lead both the strategy and creative departments and propel clients to greater success.
Pete earned his Bachelors degree in Communications from Western Kentucky University and attended seminary at Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. When he’s not spending time outdoors with his family, you can find Pete watching Titans football or fly fishing.
Robert is one of those unique breeds who can speak both marketing and technology. After managing a software development firm in Illinois for 20 years, he took the leap and moved to Nashville to join The A Group as director of technology. He has led several teams in creating software titles and custom web applications for Fortune 500 companies ranging from education to financial management and healthcare.
His primary role is collaborating with our talented development team to create innovative platforms from which TAG clients can better communicate their message to the world. He understands both purpose and programming, and guides development projects to ensure they work great AND accomplish larger strategic goals.
One of his passions has been serving the local church in different capacities, most recently volunteering as operations director for a local church, and he calls his role at The A Group, which combines his love for technology and faith, a "perfect fit." In his spare time, Robert loves exploring walking trails and new restaurants with his beautiful wife, Jamie, and new water parks with their four energetic kids.
At The A Group, Chris has successfully provided consistently creative solutions for TAG’s clients. With unique creative insight and an eye for innovative design, Chris helps bring TAG's web design, graphic design and video creative services to the next level. Before The A Group, Chris held both leadership and creative development positions at Spring Hill Records, Slanted Records, and Thomas Nelson Publishers (now Harper Collins Christian Publishing). Thirteen years in the creative industry and Chris's strong sense of branding and strategy make him a master at guiding clients to the place where strategy, messaging and visuals work together for the greater benefit of an organization.

As the Director of Business Development for The A Group, Chris Johnson works to build and facilitate long-term relationships with organizations, nonprofits, and ministries. Throughout that process, Chris helps identify clients’ critical goals and the tools necessary in order to tell their unique stories more effectively.
As a previous client of The A Group and having worked for one of the largest international Christian media nonprofits, Chris brings valuable perspective to the client journey and experience. Whether organization, church, individual brand, or business, Chris champions the cause of each client to provide unique expertise they can’t find anywhere else.
When Chris isn’t finalizing his next big sale, he spends his time fanatically cheering on the North Carolina Tarheels. In fact, his home office is currently drowning in Tarheels memorabilia; his wife and two sons agree that his obsession is slightly obnoxious.
