Personality and Spiritual Gift Assessment

Personality Style: This is an indication of different personality styles. In the appropriate box on the right, please select a number according to how you know yourself at this time, #4 being the most like you, and #1 being the least like you. For more details into your Personality Style, enroll in the 4-week PLACE class that starts every first Sunday of the month at 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in CEB 303A.

Description

"D" Type Personality - The letter "D" describes the person who is outgoing, task-oriented, dominant, driving, demanding, determined, decisive, a doer. This person has a "make it happen now" attitude. This person drives people to get the job done but does not want to be bothered with details.
"I" Type Personality - The letter "I" describes the person who is outgoing, people-oriented, inspirational, influencing, inducing, impressive, interactive, interesting, and a communicator. This person has a "make it fun" attitude and a personality that tends draw people to them.
"S" Type Personality - The letter "S" describes the person who is reserved, people-oriented, supportive, submissive, stable, steady, quiet, likes routine. This person is very flexible and has a follower attitude.
"C" Type Personality - The letter "C" describes the person who is task-oriented, cautious, analytical, a list maker, careful, and has to make things right. This person looks at the big picture and comes up with the steps to make it happen

Spiritual Gift: This is a quick look at the Seven Spiritual Gifts listed in Romans 12:6-8. We postulate that every born-again person is given one of these gifts upon accepting Christ. Each gift is used in God's kingdom in a place of service. In the appropriate box on the right, please select a number according to how you know yourself at this time, #4 being the most like you, and #1 being the least like you. Please choose only four of the gifts. Three of the gifts will not have any number in the box. For more insight into your Spiritual Gift, enroll in the 4-week PLACE class that starts every first Sunday of the month at 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in CEB 303A.

The Spiritual Gift of Prophecy - You have the ability to communicate God's word with power, conviction, and clarity, and to apply it to the specific situation of the hearers.
The Spiritual Gift of Serving - You recognize practical needs and provide behind-the-scenes assistance to support the overall work of the church.
The Spiritual Gift of Teaching - You have the ability to grasp and communicate biblical truths so that Christians comprehend them clearly.
The Spiritual Gift of Exhortation - You have the ability to help others reach their full potential by means of encouraging, challenging, comforting and guiding. Your motivation is to stimulate the faith in others to become all God wants them to be.
The Spiritual Gift of Giving - You are motivated to fulfill the requirements of God's kingdom by contributing eagerly and generously with personal assets for the furtherance of the ministry.
The Spiritual Gift of Leadership - You have the ability to discern God's purpose for a group of believers, to set goals to accomplish that purpose, and to challenge others to fulfill the vision of God's will.
The Spiritual Gift of Mercy - You feel sincere compassion beyond normal Christian sympathy for persons who are in distress and to provide practical motivational support to meet their needs.
