This week on the Another Way podcast, we had the opportunity to sit down with our friend, Angus Nelson. Angus is a consultant and strategist, helping creative entrepreneurs build impactful systems for marketing, messaging and mindset. He’s worked with Fortune 1000 brands around the topics of innovation and collaboration; spoken at corporate headquarters for Walmart, BMW, Coca-Cola, Hallmark, and others; and hosts an top 20 business podcast called, Up In Your Business. And in addition to all of those wonderful accolades, he has a real heart for nonprofits and ministries.

We had a great conversation on this episode that I think you’ll find helpful– we talked about everything from influencer marketing (what is it and how do nonprofits use it), to how the culture of your organization is the new marketing. Angus had some great things to say about what the future of work is going to look like too.

At the end of our podcast, Angus surprised us by offering all of our listeners a fantastic FREE eBook he’s put together entitled, Influence: How to Listen to Your Customers and Build a Legacy Brand.

Angus mentions in his eBook, “Whether it’s politics or products, one thing must be present for success: Listening to your customers.”

Too often, organizations get so caught up in their own hubris, failing to change, grow, or innovate beyond their initial successes. Or worse, they try to change too much, too fast and, as Dave Packard of Hewlett Packard states, “a company is more likely to die from indigestion of too much opportunity than starvation from too little.”

Whether you lead a large nonprofit or you’re getting ready to launch an idea that you think can make a huge impact, I believe this resource will be super helpful for you.
