Here at The A Group, we continually search for the best talent out there to boost our MarTech potential and reach. So today, we’re excited to announce the addition of three new members to our growing team!
Chris Johnson is joining our sales team as our new Business Development Director and Sarah Herr and Rebekah Tate are joining our client services team as Account Managers. We can’t wait to see what all they will accomplish.
As the new Business Development Director, Johnson will work to increase awareness about TAG in the nonprofit and ministry sector while also increasing our reach into new industries.
Previously Johnson worked as a Business Development Manager for Office Depot where he focused on new business acquisition, facilitated client meetings and handled negotiations to land new business. Johnson has also worked as a Regional Account Executive for G/O Digital and as U.S. Media Sales Manager for TWR.
“I used to be a client of TAG a few years ago.” Johnson said. “I believe in the work that this team does so much that I jumped at the opportunity to actually come aboard! With this new position I hope to continue to sharpen my skills in the Martech industry while building lasting business relationships. Ultimately, I look forward to the opportunity to bring in new and exciting projects and help The A Group to grow.”
Rebekah Tate joined TAG in January 2016 to manage web and marketing projects with an emphasis on marketing. As an Account Manager, she will be in charge of ensuring that client marketing goals are met and exceeded, that web projects run smoothly and that new ideas are continually generated to keep clients growing in their space of influence.
“I am most excited about being apart of a team!” Tate said. “At my previous job I worked alone in my field, which taught me so much, but it’s definitely exciting for me to get to brainstorm ideas with others who have the same mindset and can test my strengths and weaknesses. I think it will challenge and better me as an employee. I am also hoping to gain a new community of people… Maybe I’ll even become tolerant to coffee since everyone here loves it!”
Tate comes to us from Chick-fil-a where she worked as a local Marketing Director. During her time there, she developed and managed communications strategies, fundraising events and partnerships with local businesses. Her strong skills in customer service make her a valuable asset of our team in managing and meeting client expectations and needs.
Sarah Herr will also work as an Account Manager with a focus on technology-driven projects. As such, she will be in charge of brainstorming and implementing solutions with the TAG technology team to meet client needs and problems in websites and mobile applications.
“I am very passionate about missions, non-profits, ministries and other organizations trying to make the world a better place,” Herr said. “I have always wanted to be a part of something that was bigger than myself, and have always thrived on the creativity advertising brings. I never thought I would find the best of both worlds. I am so incredibly excited to be a part of TAG as I get to serve these organizations by helping them achieve their goals through advertising.”
Previously Herr worked for Dell as an Inside Sales Representative. During her time there, she learned the power of creative problem solving and stellar communications and customer service.
