Do you know who your target market is? If you answered "yes," how many audiences you have? What are each of their unique characteristics? Do you know what types of messages they respond best to? Where that specific audience is best reached? Ok, ok we'll stop peppering you with questions. :)

Establishing who your organization’s audiences are (yes, you can have more than one!) is a critical step on the road to marketing success. Determining appropriate messaging and delivery channels are all highly dependent upon your ability to identify who you are actually speaking to in the first place.

Sadly, more times than not, we see organizations using a megaphone with their message, but it's faced toward the wrong group of people. Or other times they're aiming at the correct audience, but the message itself doesn't resonate, leading to ineffective efforts and wasted resources.

For that reason, we have created a free resource to equip you and your team in the discovery process. The Audience Matrix is a fantastic tool to use as you begin identifying your audiences as an organization. Once you identify an audience, you will be prompted to answer two critical questions that will help guide your understanding of how to build relationships and communicate to each corresponding group in the most effective way possible.

We understand that this can be a difficult process, as we are often unaware of who each of our audiences actually are. If at any point in this exercise you realize that you need some strategic help in assessing who you’re actually talking to, answering those two crucial questions or what to even do with that information moving forward, we would be more than happy to walk alongside you to support your efforts.
